Hello and welcome to COMIC BOOK QUAGMIRE, a blog where I, a lifelong comics geek and 13-year professional in both the Marvel Bullpen and later DC Comics/Vertigo, expound on the elephantine medium of comics from  a well-informed POV as both a fan and a participant. There's a lot to cover and I already have a few other blogs that I work on, but lately I've been going through a lot and I find comfort in geeking-out over favorite works, so, if you are currently here and reading this, you likely are on my wavelength.

So thanks for stopping by, and feel free to pour up your beverage of choice, sit down, relax, and join in my geekery. And please feel free to respond to what you read here or ask questions in the comments threads. I have a crazy schedule, so I may not respond to comments and questions with expedience, but I will eventually get to them.
